The problem was due to a DMCA copyright issue wherein a podcaster had used music that they shouldn’t have, violating the copyright.
We contacted the podcaster who assured us they had the licenses and were sending on to the relevant people.
However, the podcaster’s domain name was reported as part of the DMCA report and our domain name server provider took down the whole server in error.
We’ve had sporadic reports of Captivate podcast websites using custom domains seeing some intermittent issues.
Captivate websites are up and running as usual and any issues that we identify are linked only to custom domain links to each affected site.
Podcasts are not affected.
